About Our Foundation

Inspired by a life-changing event (Covid 19), Hello Foundation was established in April 2020 with the aim to provide meals to the less fortunate without income and food during the lockdown. By facilitating innitially 100 meals to kids in Tsakani township per day , this quickly grew based on the plight of real poverty to now feeding over 600 meals per day in 3 Locations in Gauteng.

During the first 170 days of Lockdown we have facilitated over 75,000 meals and now have a aim to continue and grow to provision of 250,000 meals per annum.

Hello Foundation works tirelessly to provide quality, long-term solutions for a number of pressing issues affecting our community. Our most significant causes are those that are often brushed aside by most. Our battle is against indifference, and we would love for you to become part of that change today.

It is estimated that almost 1 in 2 South Africans 49% (StatsSA , 2020)where living below the poverty line, this implies almost 10 million kids go hungry each day. Our Mission is to provide 250,000 meals per annum to those in desperate need.

Fighting Hunger

One of the main reasons Hello Foundation was founded was to do a little to a small impoverished community where kids often go hungry for days. This quickly has grown to serving ~600 meals a day in 3 deserving informal areas within Gauteng.
